shangzun gallery诚挚邀请您于 8 月 4 日下午16:00点，至 798 艺术区尚尊画廊，参观由艺术家东四策展、与时间美术馆联名推出的情绪肖像系列展览。届时除情绪肖像摄影作品导览，还有特别的艺术疗愈体验项目——情绪肖像摄影体验。我们将以情绪肖像为媒介，把人们从匆忙的生活中解放出来，找到本真的自己。期待给您带来触及灵魂的不一样的惊喜感受。

艺术作为一种元语言，我们用它来联系彼此，然而误解也由此产生。遵从原始的、无意识的、神性的身体哲学指引，寻找遮蔽下的充满诗意的澄明真理，孤独的人们终其一生寻找与自我、与世界之间的亲密——人们渴望被看见。
然而，肆无忌惮的笑，不经意掉落的泪滴，眼睛旁边的皱褶，以及被匆匆忙忙所遗忘的，羞于提及又了然于胸的隐秘自我，在哪里？
数字化的全联网和全交际并未使人们更容易遇见他者，正相反，它恰恰更便于人们从陌生者和他者身边经过，却无视他们的存在。真实的自我已经被无穷无尽的大数据所带来的大量信息——交际噪声、数字化风暴——所掩盖，景观构成了社会，每一个自我被消失了。这是海德格尔的“对存在的遗忘”：“轰鸣：这是真相，就算是踏进人群当中，踏进隐喻的暴风雪中。”
摄影师的本质是保护主义者，我们用照片把瞬间变成永恒，通过感情通达理性。在物像与象意之间，在虚位与想象之间，在每一个感受与另一个感受之间，每一个决定性瞬间构成了灵魂深处不曾被看见的动人的美丽。

BETWEEN ONE FEELING AND ANOTHER
Art, as a meta-language, allows us to connect with each other, but misunderstandings also arise from it. Following the original, unconscious, and divine body philosophy guidance, we seek the poetically illuminated truth that is concealed, and lonely people spend their whole lives searching for intimacy with themselves and the world - people long to be seen. However, unrestrained laughter, unintentional tear drops, wrinkles around the eyes, and the hidden self that is reluctant to be mentioned but is well understood, where are they?
The full interconnection and communication enabled by digitalization have not made it easier for people to meet others, on the contrary, it makes it easier for people to pass by strangers and others without noticing their existence. The real self has been covered by the massive amount of information brought by endless big data - communication noise, digital storm - and the landscape has become society, with every self disappearing. This is Heidegger's "forgetting of being": "The roar: This is the truth, even if stepping into the crowd, stepping into the metaphorical blizzard." The essence of a photographer is a protector, we use photos to turn moments into eternity, through emotional access to reason. Between the image and the idea, between the blank space and the imagination, between every feeling and the next, every decisive moment constitutes the beautiful, unseen depths of the soul.

赵峥，字非凡，号东四。独立艺术家，策展人，诗人、摄影师、旅行者和幻想家，仓库CangkuArt主理人。摄影MFA，硕士毕业于美国萨凡纳艺术与设计学院SCAD。现居北京。作品涉及多种媒介，文字、摄影、版画、装置、行为、影像、新媒体等均有涉猎。研究方向为视觉表征对自我身份建构的影响及其能真实表征的可能性，专注传统工艺之于当代艺术的意义。
Zheng Zhao, also called as Feifan or Dongsi. Independent artist, poet, photographer, traveler and fantast. She graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a Master of Fine Art degree in Photography, and now she lives in Beijing.
Her works involve a variety of media, including literature, photography, printmaking, installation, performance, video, and new media. Her research focuses on the influence of visual representation on self-identity construction and the possibility of authentic representation, focusing on the significance of traditional craft in contemporary art
